How to Cheat in Captivity
Created by the gaming community with the aim to simplify the game experience, Captivity offers support for a cheat menu mod, which is simply a modification that adds a special menu or interface to the base game, allowing players to activate various cheats in-game.
These cheats include options such as heal, unlock clothes, choose weapon, add money, gain infinite health, strength, stamina, ammo, no reload, and more. Now, without further delay, here’s how to cheat in Captivity.
- To begin with, ensure you are running the latest version of the game, which as of now is Captivity v1.0.5b.
- Now, download this Captivity cheats.zip file and extract it using WinRAR or 7-Zip to get the “Captivity_Data” folder.
- Next up, open File Explorer on your Windows PC and navigate to your game directory. It should be in;
C:\Users\"your username"\ AppData\LocalLow\Perveloper\Captivity\
- In here, copy the Captivity_Data folder in the extracted cheats.zip file and paste it in your game root folder (i.e., the folder that contains the Captivity.exe file).
- Once done, click “Yes to all” to replace or overwrite existing files (which is the Assembly-CSharp.dll file located in; \Captivity\Captivity_Data\Managed).
- That is it. Having altered the original functions of the game, simply launch it and access the cheat menu. From here, you will be able to enable just about any cheat you want.
Captivity Door Code
In Captivity, there is a special door in the starting area that is rumoured to grant players freedom. However, accessing it requires a unique code, which unfortunately is randomly generated per save provided the player has completed all experiments or challenges.
Having accessed the door, we can boldly vouch that there’s nothing of value behind it. But if you are adamant on opening it without completing the game, then you’ll need our save file and the code we used to access it.
- So, to get this one going, download the latest Captivity v1.0.5b save file and extract it using WinRAR or 7 Zip.ย
Note, our save file comes with all achievements and outfits unlocked.
- Next up, locate your game save file in the following directory:
C:\Users\"your username"\AppData\LocalLow\Perveloper\Captivity\xGameDB.db
Alternately, you can press Windows Key+R and type in %appdata% to get to the AppData folder faster.
- From here, copy the xGameDB.db file in the extracted save file downloaded above and paste/replace it with your current save file.
- With that done, open up Captivity, and in the door keypad, type in 4850, and it should unlock automatically.
