Don’t tell me he got scared of the bus or probably was running away from an enemy. No matter how I envision it, I’d think he’s testing the player. Perhaps to see if he’s willing or kind enough to do a task for him. Whatever the case might be, here’s where to find Linus basket in Stardew Valley.
Finding Linus Basket
So you just read that letter he dropped in your mailbox huh? Telling you what he lost and asking you for help to retrieve it. Well here’s where to find it. To begin with, head to the right exit of your farm and you will arrive at the bus stop.
From there, go left down the road and head into the tunnel. It’s actually a no-go area, but that’s where what we are looking for. So go ahead and make your way to the end and you will see Linus basket stained with blackberry juice.
Pick it up and head back to Linus tent. It’s north of Pelican Town, near the mines. Once you see him, walk up to him and he’ll automatically take the basket from your inventory whilst leaving a thankful message saying how much the basket meant to him.
That’s it, you just completed that quest, thus earning Linus friendship. In case you approach Linus and the game tells you he’s the wrong person, simply reload or hard reboot the game to fix the error.
