Boomed into one of the best selling PC games of all time, the Sims 4 is without doubt an interesting simulation game that teaches players how to live the best of their life. I started my Sims 4 journey in 2017, thereby ditching stardew valley and the like with the hope to experience something better. From completing various objectives to getting stuck at different sessions, I’d say it’s a catatonic game.
Of all the years I have been playing Sims 4, I’d never experience raw sex. Infact it is never visible, and even though it features the “wooho” or “do it” thing, they’re all carried out under the cover of bedsheets and pixelated bodies. On Sims 4, characters can have a baby, but it sure isn’t an easy task.
Player level as well as relationship level with other Sims are one of the basic requirements needed to making babies in Sims 4. Then purchasing the Bassinet under the Babies & Kids section and utilizing it will make your Sim adopt or have a baby the natural way. Today, it’s sad to say that all this have changed, as a bunch of horny simheads have developed a ton of mods that enhance the game’s sex mechanics.
One such mod is WickedWhims, created by Turbodriver with the aim to offer explicit animated sex, nudity interactions, relationship enhancement and gameplay improvement. But how does this “thing” improve the overall gameplay? Like seriously, creating a mod where Sims get nude completely, while having them engage in sexual activities all over the house and in public isn’t educative at all.
And to think that modders who add a lot of sex scenes in the Sims 4 are making up to $4,000 a month proves that it’s a lucrative business that’s weird. But I really do not think most people want it. Aside from story telling, I really do not see the need of using Wicked Whims in regular gameplay. It tends to interrupt the game’s theme, making it overly focused on sex and sexuality while the main objectives fall in the background.
Imagine you have kids who loves watching you play the Sims, then fast-forward to that session where Sims bang each over, ejaculating on the face of their female partner who give them blowjob…. ouch envision the look the kids will give you. You’d be like….
Wicked Whims makes Sims 4 gameplay depressing, especially when the novelty wore off. The autonomous banging is unpleasant to the eyes and it still doesn’t end there as the modder is seriously adding more graphics action to the game and they can be downloaded for free.

Really? Look, if you don’t like sexual mods, nobody is making you download it and as several other people said, you can have WW and turn off the sexy stuff or turn off the autonomy. And of course you had to do the whole “think of the children” thing; nobody in their right mind is going to playing those kind of mods in front of their kids, if they even have kids. The download page even lists all the different features, so you should have known about all this stuff ahead of time. Also, I feel like this article was way too short to accurately get your point across nor do I feel you you really proved this was “cancerous”
Some people will disagree about this but i get your point. I get your point that its “cancerous” because not all people will use this mod just to add realism to their gameplay but some may use this to pleasure themselves that leads to addiction that slowly affects their physical and mental well being.

I mean I had never heard of the game, or conceived of such a thing, and now I can’t stop playing it because it’s so hilarious depraved. Combine WickedWhims with the Extreme Violence mod and you’ve got both sex AND violence in a Sims game. What’s better than that?
henry, just because you’re a virginal, god fearing prude doesn’t mean there is no audience for realistic sexuality and the human body in a f-ing life simulator game played mostly by adults. ww allows you have menstrual cycles, be polyamorous, adds an attraction systems, expands personalities, and customize pregnancy settings. try wonderfulwhims if sex is too offensive for you, you f-ing boomer. try wickedperversions, that’ll really get your panties wedged up there.
I use WW in sims4 and really like it. I was really annoyed when your sim had to shower and the scene is like totally pixelated. WW solved that for me. I do not mind nudity in game.
Using WW settings you can make sex casual and infrequent adding just right amount of immersion.
OR you can have your game nothing but a porno show, which in my opinion does break the games purpose because I do enjoy playing it the way it was meant to.
I believe to each their own, but let’s not call WW a cancer.

Shit… EA/Maxis need to be thanking WW and DD and all the other “mainstream” sex-based (and other topic) mods. If it wasn’t for that, I wouldn’t have, and many others from some forums I am a part of, even considered buying the game or any of the other mods. They are actually pushing some business to them. Some of the mods require the official packs that you then have to buy or *cough cough* pirate *cough*. But for those of us who are, or planning to, make content like videos, pics and comics, we mostly go the official route.
I’m sure the “intent” was not to have sexual mods, but let’s be real. This isn’t a Sims 4 exclusive. These kind of mods have been around since AT LEAST Sims 2 (I say that because I never played Sims 1)
Next are you gonna do an article on how the Furry mod is gonna cause the downfall of America? The best feature of the Sims franchise is the ability to make the game the way YOU want life to be. It doesn’t have to be realistic. I mean, we have friggin supernatural packs with Vampires. And I’m sure most people do not believe in that. If you wanted something based purely on real life, da hell you even playing games for? Go outside and do that for 24/7 XD.
There were definitely sex mods for Sims 1. Hell, there was everything from reverse cowgirl to golden showers. Yeah, the modder community was very active back then as it is now.
